What 80's video or videos would you have liked to see have a sequel? Some videos end with the viewer wanting more.

I get what you mean. Don't you feel "Janie's Got A Gun" needed a sequel to clear-up who killed the molesting father? Was is Leslie Ann Warren or 'Janie'? If he was supposedly shot in his office/den, how did he end up on the railroad tracks? Why did Janie look surprised to be there and to see her Dad dead? Where did Janie run to? Oh the things that keep me up at night. :confused:

I dunno, I kind of think the song lyrics tell you who shot Janie's child molesting father. "What did her daddy do? It's Janie's last I.O.U. She had to take him down easy, and put a bullet in his brain....She said 'Cuz nobody believes me, the man was such a sleaze, he ain't never gonna be the same..." That pretty much sums it up, to me.

But in the video she looked so shocked and confused about his being dead. And it seemed she didn't know how she got to the tracks.

You are right about that! Why don't they tell the story that's in the song, instead of trying to make the song fit the story? That just burns me up, with some videos.

There was an Aerosmith "Best TV Moments" on VH1 before, but I can't remember now if they discussed this video.
