I'm 15, all I remember is part of 1989 watching MTV. I don't have really any memories from the 80's. I just genuinely love the culture and everything else about the 80's. :)

Yeah I'm fifteen. I share the same interest in the decade. I don't know why exactly but the '80s interest me a lot!

I don't believe your age matters, or whether or not you really "experienced" the 80s firsthand. My sister-in-law, for example, is 25 and absolutely in love with the 1950s; she always has been. She listens to the *oldie* oldies station. Hehe, I love her.

I adore my 80s, though I sometimes I wish that I was born in the 60s because I would have made the PERFECT flower child! I have tons of music from the 80s and 60s, so I am torn....though since I grew up on my 80s era, I am in LOVE with the 80s!!

And yes...with all the young ones, I now feel ancient!! Though I love to hear their points of view, so I am glad to share "my" decade with them!!

Well, my daughter thinks I'm a nut case because I'm still living in the 80s (musically and with my reminscing here). She likes some music from the 80s (bands like Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd,...). And she loves to sit with me when I post here and when I'm in chat. She always has something to add to my posts. Sometimes I will add her suggestions. Oh, she's 13 and was born in '88.
