Hey Y'all,

Remember singer Regina who had a hit with "Baby Love", she was dubbed the Madonna sound-alike, I myself didn't think so. Does anyone know what became of her? :)

Regina was awesome! Just kidding. She, to me, DID sound a lot like madonna, which at the time was a nice thing commercially, but HORRIBLE critic wise, as Madonna wasnt the media darling/whore she is today.

BUT Regina DID do a commercial with McGruff, the Crime Dog. Why she was chosen as opposed to, say Stacey Q, (if they were looking for a OHW to be in the commercial) I will never Know~!

I remember all the Madonna comparison with Regina, and I didn't see or hear the similarity. "Baby Love" was a cutesy, kitschy pop song, but it didn't come anywhere near Madonna's realm!!! :)
