This album I have is on vinyl and have had since it was new. It is so worn out that recently I had to break down and buy a CD to replace it. I have always loved this 1985 album with such hits as "Some Like It Hot", "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" which is a old T. Rex cover, and the not so played "Communication". This album delivers a blend of jazz meets rock sound. Again, I have always loved the guitarwork of Andy Taylor. (Outside of Duran, he was really able to shine!) Plus, the soulful sounds of Robert Palmer's voice I have always admired as far back as the "Secrets" album.
Definately a good album to listen to. My favorite tracks are : "Lonely Tonight", "Murderess", and "Bang A Gong (Get It On)".
Tracks:
1. Some Like It Hot
2. Murderess
3. Lonely Tonight
4. Communication
5. Bang A Gong (Get It On)
6. Go To Zero
7. Harvest For The World
8. Still In Your Heart
P.S. Something that some of you Powerstation fans might not be aware of. I only found out two years ago. In 1996, The Powerstation got back together to make a new CD. The album is called "Living In Fear" and it is a great album also. It is just a little harder to find. I found mine at BMG Music Service of all places. Never seen it in the stores.
