View Full Version : Who'd like a coffee?
I'm being creative here and non 80s!! Just thought I'd ask a few stupid get to know you better questions now and then. This one being about coffee. How do you like it? What types do you like? Any interesting flavoured coffee?
Me, I'm not really a coffe drinker but I do like the liquer flavoured coffees. I now have frangelico coffee, Moko (same as mocha justa fancier name), Kahlua, and Irish Cream. I ususally have 2 sugars and milk or cream if I'm in the mood for it http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I also love coffee ice cream and coffee flavoured lollies. Mmmmmmm http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I don't drink coffee that much if at all. The reason being it has stunted my growth....I used to be tall right now I'm only 6'5" http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ayesakara 5-05-00, 03:56 PM Well, I am not much of a coffee drinker. In Pakistan, we have tea. Any tea drinkers here? I need my four cups a day, that hasn't stunted *my* growth! But they say tea makes ya dark. But then I am naturally brown, being as Asian! Hehehe....
ONLY 6'5" Not Man? WOW!

Sal Collaziano 5-05-00, 07:39 PM Yes, caffeine stunts your growth!
And I love tea! Light and sweet. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif heh Ahh, it makes you dark?! Damn - it's tea for me from now on! I'm way too white! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/tongue.gif

You don't know how many times I have said that to someone just to see the look on their face. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/eek.gif Of course you would have to be standing there to get the full effect.
I always thought it was funny when someone would be standing there looking at me and then come over and ask me how tall I am I would sometimes tell them I am 5'17" just to make them figure it out themselves. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sal Collaziano 5-06-00, 02:20 AM 5 foot 17. hehehe
What's Dilma tea? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/tongue.gif
------------------
Sal Collaziano
It's one of the best quality teas here in Australia. It comes from Sri Lanka, Ceylon to be exact and it comes in a nice green cardboard box http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Not that you neede to know that http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
------------------
*Sheree*
Sal Collaziano 5-06-00, 03:13 AM Hmm. I may need to buy a box from ya! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif I'd like to try it...
------------------
Sal Collaziano
Ayesakara 5-06-00, 02:41 PM Well, most of the tea we get also comes from Sri Lanka. Dilma? Is that a brand name, or type of some flavored kinda tea? I know there are flavored teas around, but I drink good strong plain tea, with a little milk added and no sugar. That's the way to get the real taste of tea. Umm.. actually, the best way would be to have simply black tea, but I am used to adding some milk. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif
I'll again say, Not man: WOW! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif
I think it's just a brand name but a good reputable one. Excellent quality. Sal.. I can send ya a couple of tea-bags over if ya want? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
------------------
*Sheree*
Sal Collaziano 5-07-00, 04:30 PM Hey, that would be cool. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Would they stay okay in shipping? Or should I send you some money for a whole box? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif
------------------
Sal Collaziano
Blaziegirl 5-07-00, 07:54 PM I love tea, my problem is that I load it up with sugar! So I try not to drink to much of it http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sal Collaziano 5-07-00, 11:43 PM Me too! Alot of sugar and alot of cream! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif It really doesn't taste much like tea anymore but - I like it!
------------------
Sal Collaziano
It should be alright if I just send a couple in a normal envelope. Won't cost anything than the normal postage. Then if you like it then I'll send you a box and rather than you sending me money you send me something in return. What do ya think? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Fair deal or what? I'll send an e-mail later to get your address.

Oh I am a definite coffeeholic!!! The first thing i do before barely opening my eyes in the morning is make a pot of coffee.... I drink it all day.2 sugar and cream. I enjoy flavoured coffee once in a while, Hazelnut,French Vanilla and English Toffee are my faves.
I drink tea quite a bit as well. Raspberry Zinger is my fave. And once a month (you know what I'm talking about ladies LOL)I drink alot of red Raspberry Leaf Tea (from the Health Food Store) it helps my cramps and general bitchiness LMAO

I certainly do know what you mean there Ayla http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Unfortunately not much works for me at all in that department, not even the hot water bottle http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/frown.gif

Sal Collaziano 5-09-00, 02:15 AM Now I will DEFINATLY replace my coffee tomorrow with some nice tea. hehe Nice, sugary, creamy tea. hah
Sheree http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Okay, this sounds good. My email isn't working at the moment so you probably sent the email and I just haven't received it yet. I don't know what's going on but it happens occasionally... Thanks! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sal the cream liquer you wanted to know about was the Godiva white chocolate liquer (every more amazing in hot chocolate) http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/wink.gif
I am a huge coffee addict and I didn't start drinking it until I had my first child (to stay awake) now if I don't go to Tim Hortons at least once a day (drugs in the stuff I swear) I'm crabby http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif If I ever moved to the states I'd have to start a franchise there :lol
When I do drink coffee at home its Folger's dark roast or Arabica beans (freshly ground yum). cream and sometimes irish cream. I hate sugar in my coffee but like at least 2 tsp in my red rose (only in Canada ay). Flavored tea I love Celestial seasonings Sleepy Time (a real knock out tea), or mandarin orange. Flavored tea is really good cold too - try to make ice tea next time with a bit of flavored tea and have a whole new treat http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif
------------------
Sal Collaziano 5-09-00, 11:30 AM Up. I see another smiley that I need to add. Otherwise, that was it. The Godiva thing. hehe Yes, I must try that!
Actually, sugar is really bad for you IN coffee! (Not sure about tea) But something about the combination of hot coffee and sugar is really bad for your teeth. I use NutraSweet. The blue stuff...
------------------
Sal Collaziano
Ayesakara 5-11-00, 07:38 AM Well, the "once in a blue moon" cup of coffee that I do have.... I HAVE to have it sweet, and since I don't take sugar, I use nutra sweet as well. I remember when my big brother was here (he's in England now)... and we used to rent out movies for the weekends and used to sit and watch them late at night, we used to 'percolate' coffee!!! Coffee with whitener and nutra sweet! Used to keep me awake the whole night. LOL
My husband and I are both really bad about our coffee. We went camping with our friends last summer and in the morning when everyone was gingerly sipping their instant coffee we were drinking our filtered coffee. You can buy a coffee funnel that fits over most cups and then they sell the filters to that size. It was a little bit of luxury among the black flies and the bears http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif
