I know this league gets no respect and had a pretty horrid opening game, but it's really come a long way since then. I'm not even a football fan, but if the NFL could run their show like this, I definitely would be! The hits, the emotion, the access....nothing's out of bounds. I got really PO'ED when Art the fart Modell took the Browns out of Cleveland so I stopped watching football... That was 6 or 7 years ago but I watched some of the XFL games & they rule and there's even some comedy mixed in http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif I got a kick out of that little tiff going on between Rusty and Jesse http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif I do think the players deserve more money though...

They definitely deserve more, but to get more money, the league has to make money. I'd rather he keep them paychecks down to earth though. The XFL was built to bring real football back and make it as fan friendly as can be (like the tickets to see it live....nice and cheap since they don't pay the players extraordinary amounts of money).

I like the fact that unlike the NFL and all their spoiled and greedy millionaires, the XFL players actually earn every penny of their meager paychecks. It also shows that ego has been thrown out the window.

Everyone gets the same pay and the guys aren't all about money like them greedy little shits in the NFL. They play because they like to play...bottom line.

Your right about the money issue I guess. Hopefully the XFL will be around for a while because I've heard the ratings aren't so good.
