I'll admit to being a little curious, so I'll ask...what was the inspiration behind the names of your teams? Mine is the name of the local minor-league hockey team. (which BTW recently became the minor-league affiliate of Bogie's Maple-Leafs) :D So I guess I'll have to root for Toronto & St. John's. :rolleyes:

I just use my name and my favorite team ie hockey Montreal Canadiens and in football the Dallas Cowboys (ouch)

That's ok, caligula, I'm a Cowboys fan from way back (late '70's) when I was just a little fella! :D
BTW, my football team's name comes from my alma mater's football mascot. The team is the Ole Miss "Rebels", but the mascot is called "Colonel Reb".

The Darling Buds of May is a novel by H.E. Bates and was turned into a British television series.

In Toronto the Leafs are often affectionately referred to as the Buds. Especially when they are not doing so well. Of course, May would be the height of the conference playoffs. Yes, Bogie's an endless optimist. LOL.

Cheering for Toronto and St. John's Nolan? There's hope for ya yet. LOL. :D

As for the Leafs, since both teams will be sending players down to us, I'm gonna be able to get more acquainted with their younger players, so it will be more natural to root for those teams. :D
