Okay, everyone! Our new system is here! Finally! After about $700.00 and a ton of stress, it's ready! I have to thank Allen Ayres and Mutt for contributing to most of the enhancements on this board. They really did a great job in a short amount of time.. (Thanks!)

Otherwise, I'd like to go over a few things that are different here.

Member list. You can click on this link and get a list of all our members. That's an easy one..

There are ICQ icons, and Yahoo!, AIM (instant messenger) icons as well. From there, you can contact people who are online using one of these programs...

There is a spelling checker and text editor for when you post messages. Try these things out - they work well!

Post icons are new to most of you. Some of the smileys you used on the ezboard are a bit different here, so check the Smilies Legend for more information. I will be adding more in the near future...

Private Messages are a really cool new feature. You can click on the PM icon or access this from their profile to leave them a private message. You must be logged in to retrieve your own messages.. This is accessable from the first page of the forum listings. Just scroll down to the bottom and you will see your INBOX...

While you're down there you might notice there is a little "Who else is on" section.. That tells you who else is browsing the boards...

I can't think of anything else at this very moment. I'm still working on getting everything together.. An ezboard to UBB conversion may come along soon..

Please feel free to REPLY to messages in the other forum. But please post NEW messages here! Also, if you'd like to repost some of the messages on the ezboard forum here, I would really love that!

Oh yeah, you must register with this new system. Please use an accurate EMAIL address because this system will email you a password (which you can change later by going into your profile).

Oh, I guess you have computer hogs at home, huh? Well, you can get a pretty decent computer now for around $700.00 - that's actually a pretty good one. Look around. You can probably get an entire Pentium 2 system for $500.00

Okay, you might notice a couple of new things:

Flaming folders when topics are hot

and

Multipage links. Pages 1 2 etc - This is so you can click on the latest page of messages for that topic. I keep the pages to a 15 message maximum to keep page loading quick.
