View Full Version : Jello Pudding Pops
morningmyst 10-13-01, 03:29 PM Ok.....here's the recipe I promised you. It's pretty much a no-brainer, so of course, I had no problems with it! :D Enjoy!!!
Jell-O Pudding Pops
2 cups cold milk
1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O Instant Pudding and Pie Mix
6 (5-oz) paper cups
6 popsicle sticks
Beat pudding mix and milk together, at least two minutes.
Spoon into cups. Insert popsicle stick in center of each cup.
Freeze 5 hours (or overnight). To remove pop from cup, place
bottom of cup in warm water for 15 seconds. Press firmly
on bottom of cup and push pop out. Don't pull on the popsicle
stick.
Iluvthe80s 10-13-01, 03:37 PM Thanks so much, Mystie! I'm going to the grocery store today so I will probably make them today.
morningmyst 10-13-01, 03:38 PM Let us know how they turned out!!!
Thanks for the recipe Myst! I love pudding pops :)
Wouldn't be neat to have a place where we could share our favorite recepies! :)
Thanks for posting the receipe Myst! :)
Caligula 10-14-01, 11:31 PM we should all put a recipe on here unique to our own area
outofplacechild 10-15-01, 12:03 AM (Imagining Mystie eating a Jello Pudding Pop) Wow, I'll have sweet dreams tonight! (David Lee Roth mode off)
Sincerely,
John "outofplacechild" Kilduff
Cal you must be Julia Childs in the kitchen when it comes to cooking lobster :) That is the first thing we did when we hit a little fishing town in NB when my family went out east. The lobster was divine. I've never had as a good a lobster since :)
That is a great idea. I'm trying to figure out what is special to our area here though - Northern Beer? We have a very multicultural community here so we get great greek, italian, polish, and finnish food to choose from :)
ImSoooSure 10-15-01, 02:06 AM Thanks for the recipe Mystie! I like the idea of sharing more recipes. :)
Thank you! These are my hubby's absolute favorites. We used to buy them all the time when we were first married, but then they either stopped making them or else they just don't carry them in our area anymore...haven't for years, but he still asks me if I found any. It never even crossed my mind to make my own. Someone will be very happy tomorrow night! :D
Roemello 10-15-01, 02:31 AM This one's ok here, but just for future reference, if ya got original recipes to post, best place to post 'em up would be the 'stuff from our members' forum :D
morningmyst 10-15-01, 03:13 AM Sorry Roemy.....I posted it here, because someone asked about it here... :D
Roemello 10-15-01, 03:18 AM I know Myst! I said it was fine here ;) I just saw someone say it'd be cool to post more recipes so I figured I'd mention for that, the 'stuff' forum would be best
morningmyst 10-15-01, 03:25 AM Okie-dokie then!!! :D :D :D :D

That would have been me! :p LOL I acutally wasn't thinking of posting them in Members Lounge. I was wondering what everyone thought about it. ;)
So, how were the pudding pops? Anyone eat them yet? *g* I was so sad when they stopped making those... felt a lingering resentment toward Bill Cosby for years, heh!
BCRichRocker4JC 9-13-04, 11:45 PM Cool recipe. Those sound great!!!
SouthernImage 9-14-04, 02:45 PM This is Punky's thread :D
PunkyPower 9-14-04, 02:53 PM I LOVED the original pudding pops! I'll never understand why Kraft (the makers of Jell-o) stopped making them. Good Humor is making them now and they're not the same. They're not as creamy as the original ones. My substitute for pudding pops is buying Jell-o Pudding Sticks and freezing them. You usually find those in the dairy section near the yogurt. They're already prepackaged, so you just have to stick them in the freezer. :thumb: Those yogurt sticks are good frozen, too.
