I saw a really terrible accident on the way home yesterday and it just punched me in the gut. I was so spooked I didn't post it yesterday, but...

It was a flipped mini van. When it's a mini van, statistics state that it's a family vehicle. There, on the side of the road, stuck in the snow, a little car seat, probably cut out of the van...

The snow lessens the impact, of course, because it absorbs a lot of force, but...the icy patches accelerate the vehicle.

They had to be flooring it pretty well, or had a panickly moment in the ice or something. Those vans usually do okay in a crash. This one crumpled like a cotton blanket.

BE CAREFUL. Slow down. Ice, snow, fog, rain, whatever.
