WOW ... things have been SO crazy around here lately I haven't had much time to play, but I do pop in now & again to keep up!!
Just an idea of how it goes around here ...
Today, #2 had a Cross Country meet this morning. Had him to school for 6:45, dropped brother at work, ran some errands & picked up supplies to make a super batch of cheesecakes went to meet #2 at the meet (it was an hour away), he placed 7th overall :thumb:, second for our team , home ~ 1pm, in time to make ~100 mini cheesecakes for tomorrow, got #1 & 2 back to school at 3 to get ready for band, dropped #3 off for sleepover, picked up brother from work, finished cheesecakes, 2 hr ride to football game, dinner after game, still passed up the buses on the way home (LOVE those Chargers!!!), help unload instruments, home again-home again wee-wee-wee, too wired to sleep, so here I am!!

And THAT's the weekend!!!

Hate to be such a stranger, but it's been wild around here!! Think of you guys a LOT, hope everyone's doing well!!

HUGS to ALL!!

oh i hear you tx....luckily my son had the football game last night, but the band didn't get home until 1245am. then my son had to get up this morning at 6am to be at the school to leave for his cross country meet. wow..... it's like we are doing the same thing week after to week. i guess that is how it goes for us moms..
my son was 42 out of about 150 boys. I think he is about 7 or 8 at his school. i have no idea... this is the first time we are involved with cross country and since the meets are on saturday i work and not able to attend. that sucks for me.
well, just to let you know i understand what it means to be busy.. i am there with you girl....

I miss all my boys being home and doing all of that, when it is gone ( like it is for me) you will miss being so busy with your kids. Enjoy it now!

I despised running the cross country. I thought it was amusing that when my daughter was young she ran the cross country and wanted to do the entire thing again. I couldn't help but feel a little cynical that the so-called cross country must have been a very tiny one if the kids wanted to run it a second time. A real cross country run is one where you're exhausted by the end and vow to do whatever you can to avoid them in the future.

i am not sure how it all works, but i think the courses my son runs are right at 3miles. the crazy thing is some of these kids run them at about 18min. i think my son is right at about 20min? not sure he never pays attention to his time.
