Torchwood Fan 2-20-08, 09:07 PM I buy a lot of Dove stuff. I also like Garne (sp) Fructice (sp)
I like the Aroma Therapy Palmolive too.
BrandyBlue 2-20-08, 10:53 PM If you are really into floral perfumes, you should try Yves Rocher's Lilac or Lavender perfumes--almost purely just Lilac or Lavender, and their promotions are GREAT
ImSoooSure 2-21-08, 01:14 AM Ive been using Ecco Bella makeup and I really like it. It's a natural makeup and was created because they were p.o'd about all the animal testing on makeup. They have a really good selection of products.
I also love "Amys" organic foods. Great pasta sauce!
frothy latte 2-21-08, 11:48 AM I have tons of products.
I love my Hempz lotions. I usually get mine from a buyer for $12.50. In tanning salons the same bottle cost me $21.50. Walmart is carrying a Malibu Hemp lotion that smells real nice for under 5 bucks.
I also use OPI nail polish. I like their colors.
I use a lot of Paul Mitchell hair products. Love the hair wax and Awapuhi shampoo.
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush in Appletini. I just want to lick myself.
Bath & Body Plumeria body wash is nice for a bubble bath to sit in relax in.
I use Mary Kay #3 facial cleanser products including the acne gel. It's good for breakouts.
Aveeno body wash when my skin is super dry and itchy.
Gold Bond Medicated lotion to sooth that dry itchy skin in the winter.
Olays- facial clothes the 7-in-one anti aging for everday washing.
I love MAC, Jane, Milani, and HIP eyeshadows. Some colors are so intense, I have to have them.
I use MAC, Urban Decay, Loreal, and Revlon lipsticks.
I use Loreal mascara only.
For my chap lips I only use Burt's Bee wax with pomegranate oil
I'm a huge fan of Bag Balm also. I use it everyday, on my elbows & feet.
I've been using Rosebud Salve on my lips for as long as I can remember....I have a friend that works for the company in MD...which is nice cause I don't have to pay for it :p
I'm a product WHORE. I'll try anything once. If it smells good, or the packaging looks pretty I buy it ;) It's a terrible addiction :D
Some more of my favorite things:
Liquid Downy fabric softener with Fabreze
Yankee Candle wax melts - Buttercream & Home Sweet Home scents
Spot Shot carpet cleaner
Murphys Oil Soap for wood floors
Pottery Barn bedsheets
Coffeemate Fat Free French Vanilla Creamer (doesn't taste FF at all!!)
Oil of Olay 7 signs serum
Redken "Glass" smoothing hair serum (been using this for 15 years, it ROCKS)
Carol's Daughter "Ectasy" Sea Salt body scrub (in fact this whole product line is AWESOME, check it out on Sephora.com)
Tempest Frost 2-21-08, 05:22 PM Ronco’s new, Zombie-B-Gone. Gets rid of all those pesky Zombies… including Rick James.
Slayergrrl 2-21-08, 06:14 PM I'm a product WHORE. I'll try anything once. If it smells good, or the packaging looks pretty I buy it ;) It's a terrible addiction :D
Yes, Yes, it is..
You don't really realize how much shite you buy until you read a thread like this.
Victoria's Secret - Amber Romance and Vanilla Lace are my favorites, but I've bought a lot of different scents - Love Spell is nice.
Bath & Body Works - I used to love Warm Vanilla Sugar but the scent seems different to me now so I buy Cherry Blossom instead. Looooove it. :)
OK, so I am a lotion whore and I will buy almost any brand once. LOVE! Olay Quench and Quench Therapy and like Jergen's Shea Butter and Suave's Cocoa Shea (smells like chocolate :biglick: ). Absolutely cannot abide any Vaseline lotion - you think they may smell OK, but believe me, they're gross. Especially whichever one comes in the yellow bottle. The older that stuff gets, the more it smells like vomit.
I'm not a brand whore on lip balm, but I have Dollar General's version of Chapstick in my truck, my desk at work, by my bed, in at least 2 jacket pockets, in my 'carry all this crap to work' bag, and on the kitchen counter (unless my husband stole that one again). Which reminds me, I need a few replacement tubes.
I like Suave's Radiant Brunette shampoo and conditioner. It has a great scent that reminds me of the Amber Romance lotion. I like the Clairol Herbal Essence shampoos, too. Sunsilk's Anti-Flat is OK. The hair cream is nice.
Rave #4 hairspray. In a pinch I'll buy #3.
Revlon Colorstay foundation. I'll try just about any mascara. Usually get Covergirl powders.
I disagree on the Coffeemate, though. The Vanilla Caramel is the best. :D
Good gravy, I could go on forever.
I have to have Fusion freezing hairspray, Bed Head Small Talk and/or ISO curl cream. The shampoo I love are Biolage and ISO. When my scalp feels itchy I use Nixon scalp therapy. It makes the scalp tingle.
I too have to have some kind of lip balm. My favorite is Blistex ointment. Not only does it keep you lips smooth but it has a little sheen to it.
For body lotion I love Palmers coca butter or Fruit of the Earth aloe vera lotion. My favorite of all is Neutrogena Body Oil, Light Sesame Formula.
OPI polish is the best!! Linkin Park After Dark is my favorite.
My shower is full of all kinds of shampoos and conditioners. I really have to limit myself when I go to the hair supply store. Getting top brands at cost is the best part of my job :thumb:
OPI polish is the best!! Linkin Park After Dark is my favorite.
I'm not a big fan of purple nail polish, but this one is AWESOME!!! Unfortunatley, I'm having a hard time findind it. Seems like it's always sold out at the supply store & my nail salon doesn't carry it anymore. :(
Slayergrrl 2-22-08, 08:55 AM I forgot about lip balm.. I'm addicted to carmex. Nasty, awful.. But it tingles and makes my lips smooth. I'm also a big fan of Nars Orgasm lip gloss and blush..
ooooohh... I love this feminine thread!
The guys are probably gagging
I'll have to try some of this stuff, like some of those shapoos and conditioners. My hair is dry from coloring it.
For lip balm, (and I've tried tons since moving to a dry, very cold winter area)
my favorite is Aveeno with jojoba and shea butter. It's the best, and has a sunscreen.
I'm a big fan of shea butter. I love the Olay soap with shea butter. It smells awesome, too.
Lisa, Amy's food is yummy! The pesto tortolini dish...:biglick:
and the spinach pockets, etc...
And thanks for the tip on the natural make-up that doesn't test on animals. I'll try it. That's a big thing with me, I usually try to buy products that don't. Some day it will be outlawed.
I like buying Victoria's Secret tops and tees, so I'll have to check out their scent lines. Sounds groovy.. (and naughty)
