And fianlly; anytime I meet a american denizen, I ask about words I don't know. So what is a thang ? I heard of guys " scoutin' thangs " but what the heck is a thang ? Many more to come. Is qurple a made up word or does it mean sumthin', uh ?

Thang, means "Thing" It's just slang. Anymore Questions, I'll be glad to help. :)

Stalking just means you post right after the person your stalking. And leave them hugs and stuff in the LL.

"scouting a thang" (some of us Americans are new to these phrases, too.lol) means a guy or girl is on the lookout for someone 'hot'. Someone they are attracted to. If it's online, it's probably the personality they are looking at first. lol.
if you want to stalk someone on these boards (kind of our own meaning here) it means you like the way that person thinks, and you're interested in what they'll post next. (you might also feel affectionate towards them, etc. :)

Nunchuckas? Must be talking about that Japanese weapon that is sort of like two battons chained together. They spin them around their bodies on Martial Arts movies and then knock people over the head with them.

Seriously...it´s a kind of a game here on this board, and after I found out how it´s played, I had some fun since then (still having fun today). ;)
Yes, it´s all in good fun, without any serious intentions (although I´m not so sure in the case of TC...I think that her computer really needs some overworking ;)).
But, who knows...maybe, if you find the right person, or you will be found...

About the 'language barrier': just compare your messages to those of the other members...see what I mean? ;)
Actually, if I don´t understand something, I just ask them, and so far, I always received an answer (e.g. 'Map of Hawaii'...no, that wasn´t a good example *LOL*). If I would reply in my native language, about 1,950 members here would think I´ve lost my mind. :D
