View Full Version : funniest thing your pet's ever done
Chrisscross 11-28-01, 02:10 PM I know it's hard to pick just one so here are a few:
My friend and I tried to make friends out of ehr Alsatian and my Persian cat. The dog gave his little I want to play noise and my cat responded with a growl. That came about half a minute after my cat stalked into the living room as if he were the king of the house, saw the dog and fled into the bedroom.
The Christmas I got him, my best friend came over. She was holding him in her lap feeding him fish and he had both paws on the table. I could just picture the bubble over his head: this is the good life.
A friend stayed over and she was scared of cats. I offerd to keep him out of the bed room. I had this pullout bed she slept on and when it came to turning off the lights, we couldn't find him anywhere. So she decided she could sleep with the cat in the room after all but called out his name anyway and at one point she even added, 'are you still alive?' At which point the cat came out of this crack next to her head.
My favourite is when I was totally obsesed with a certain celebrity and had his picture on my bed. Some paper had written this article on him and I was reading the paper lying on my bed. At one point I had to go out and when I came back there was my cat curled up on the paper with his derriere smack on the picture.
Nage
It was so cute to see my little puppy playing with my cat. But now it is starting to worry me. The other day i heard the worst screaching sound coming from the cat. I ran to the window and saw that my dog had it's neck in his mouth dragging it around the yard. I went out to put a stop to it, when she dropped it and then took it by the leg and dragged it. I walked over to get the dog away from the cat. But the cat liked it. When the dog finally let it go it wouldn't run away. It would get real close to the dogs mouth and it was like it was begging it to play with her. They are so weird. I even caught them sleeping together.

LOL even your animals are freaky.. perhaps you should let them visit the freak/love forum.
Well my cat acts like a nut all day long. I think it is so funny when she literally bounces off the wall.. running around the house non-stop.. but the other night, I was in my room on the computer.. posting no doubt, and I stepped out into the hallway on my way to the kitchen, only to find fruit (fake) all over the hallway... an apple here, lemon there.. grapes down at the end and she's there trying to eat the banana.. the orange and the pear are in the living room, the lime in the dining room, the apple in the kitchen. I couldn't help but laugh.. she had gotten on the table, turned over the fake fruit bowl and strewn the fruit all over the house :D

Sorry mommie, that was me. :D
My cat acts like a dog. I remember when we first got her we played fetch with a toy mouse she had. lol My cat is plotting against me! She scratches me at night.
pamela* 11-28-01, 04:21 PM Are you saying that TC acts like a dog now? I can only imagine :p
That was you?? Dammit, I knew I should have put another lock on that basement door... you are a hellion!! What am I to do with you?
My cat also has a habit lately.. of laying on her back with all of her legs in the air (hmm.. she's been fixed??) But anyway.. she has one spot in the hallway, right outside my bedroom door where she does this.. I will come out and there she is.. legs in the air.. just maxin and relaxin :) She also will not let me sleep late.. If I leave my bedroom door open.. she'll do anything to get me up.. lick my nose.. crawl on my stomach, play with my hair.. nudge me to pet her.. she can't stand that I am still in bed. I love her to death though :)
Another thing she does is stand beside the TV.. on the Entertainment Center, and peek around to watch the screen.. it's so cute.. I should take pictures. Actually... we should have a topic for animal pics I think.
Ever now and than my cat decides to make a mad dash from one room to the next!
Also, whenever she sits on the side of the tub while I am in the shower. She peeks around the curtain and meows as loud as she can!
My mom's dog will play dead! Its hilarious because he is the big lug! I say, "Zane's dead" and he flops on the floor and groans! :)

That's nice TC. :p
Iluvthe80s 11-28-01, 11:51 PM I didn't see this happen, but Bryan had told me about it. One morning he had gotten up for work before the alarm went off. He got in the shower and when he got out the alarm was beeping. He went to go turn it off and saw Fidget (our cat) with his paws on top of the nightstand pawing at the clock like he was trying to turn it off. I wish I could have saw that! Smart cat!
My dog pee'd on my Aunt. We were standing my yard talking one day and I saw Porky walking up behind her. All dog's sniff things, so I didn't think anything about it when I saw him sniff the back of her leg. Wish I had a photo of my face when he hiked his leg and started to wiz on her leg. I tried so hard not to laugh, but couldn't help myself. Idiot dog!

I tell you, if it wasn't funny, I would have to kill the brat!
A cat of my Mothers once took a crap in the sugar bowl instead of using the Kitty litter tray....
My dogs like to lay in bed headboard to footboard with their heads on a pillow just like me. ;)
The cat actually gets mad at my husband and ignores him. And if my husband tries to be nice, the cat scratches him and runs before my husband can get him back. You'd think the cat was female, but it's not! LOL

Dancingdoll1986 12-03-01, 05:30 PM The kitten that we are babysitting learned a new trick and loves to do this constantly.
She plays fetch, like a dog.
We've begun to sing the theme to "Catdog" when she does this.
wavemaster 12-03-01, 10:39 PM Thanks Shakey and Steve for posting your stories here before I did...so the others canīt say 'Germans are weirdos...'. ;)
Took once the dog of my Dad for a walk. Just crossed the street to run into a neighbour. To describe our neighbour...Roem would call him 'assclown'. I couldnīt avoided to be forced into some conversation, and the dog must have felt my slight unease - the neighbour carried a bag which he had sat down for the convo, and our dog marked it.
At least, the smalltalk was soon over after this incident...I just wished that he had unloaded some crap into it. :D
RetroMan 12-04-01, 02:41 AM Ok this wasn't exactly funny for me, but some of you will get a laugh out of it. We have a purebreed Doberman called 'Cher' (yes, named after the singer of the same name) and she is a lovely dog and wouldn't hurt a fly when she's out of the yard, but when she's in her domain, she is extremely territorial. One night after coming home at some ungodly hour after a party, I stupidly decided to play a trick on Cher - I pulled my jumper over my head and scaled the back fence into our yard - she took one look at me from the distance and charged - I had to quicky poke my head though the hole in the jumper and yell "IT'S ME!!! IT'S ME CHER!!!!!" boy did she look confused - and you can bet your life I won't try something like that again!
Sometimes at night, I have to re-arrange the dogs in bed because they are on the covers or me. Once in a while I will go to move one of them while they are in a dead sleep and they will get all pissy with my. Funny thing is, I'm the same way!

My two big dogs are the same. When I'm sitting at the puter, they come and sit on either side of my chair and whine because I'm not giving them the attention they deserve.
