Elloit.. Yes, Rock Ballads. Where have they gone? That IS a good question. In fact, this may make it to the front page soon because I think this is a very important piece of the Rock 'n Roll puzzle! Ballads are the main reason Glam Rock and Hair Bands became popular at all! Think about this: What's one of the MOST popular Heavy Metal songs ever? Ever.. Answer? Fade to Black - Metallica. That was a ballad... Now for all the others? Poison, Warrant, Cinderella, Whitesnake, Motley Crue... Which songs hit the radio and MTV mainstream?! The BALLADS...

So, rockers of TODAY... Where are the Ballads? Don't you want radio play anymore?
