In the summertime here in Erie, we have what is called 8 great Tuesdays and it takes place at the Pepsi Amphitheatre off the bay. Every year there are some national acts that play there (Granted, they are usually older groups). Last night The Yardbirds played!! I was lucky enough to get to introduce them! I was on stage with Rock N Roll Hall of Famers! It's a music junky's dream. Only two of the guys, Chris Dreja and Jim McCarty, were original members but still.....

For those not familiar with the Yardbirds, they are the group that at one point or another included Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Jimmy Page went on to form the New Yardbirds who later changed their name to Led Zeppelin! They were inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Their biggest hits include "For your love" and "Heart full of soul". They also did the original version of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and confused".
