View Full Version : Houston Area Xchangers.....
Okay, I'm giving y'all ample time. I'm coming to Houston for the Journey/Def Leppard concert on July 30th. I would LOVE to get together with some or all of you for drinks before the show, or even after if it doesn't run too late. Let me know if any of you are interested. :)

Yeah, rub it in, beeyotch. :p The Def Leppard part should be good, anyway. I saw them in '89, it was awesome. :) Of course, they looked a lot better then. Didn't we all, tho'?
I saw 'em in '03 and Joe is still SMOKIN'!!!

Who knew at the time what really went on under that?! :p
Jen you got to get some awesome pics to post here. A good way to get on the tour bus is to make them brownies. Nothing sexual either! Swear!! Ask Val, it is true.
Brownies? Well, it can't hurt.

I was there too. Oh wait, maybe it was the earlier concert there, I think around 97 or 98. I remember the round stage, I think it was right after they added Vivian Campell, so I guess it was before 97 huh? Geesh how times flies when you aren't doing anything better...
When are you coming in town? Is it at the Toyota Center?
I'll come see ya, I think most of our H-town crowd left a year or so ago. :(
Get me a ticket and I'll go with ya!!! ;)
It's at the Woodlands Pavilion on July 30th, and I can't afford another ticket.

That's okay, TJ. This thread was mostly for you anyway. :)
OMG! We all could have met up if only we'd found this place when we still had lives!!!!
TC, if Queensryche opened, then that was the one! :D My friend got so high just off the smoke from people around us that when my brother came to pick us up she had already downed a bag of chips and a two-liter bottle of soda (bitch wouldn't even give me a sip! ). She wouldn't shut up, either, which was annoying, but funny.
Hell, it was probably your doobage that gave her the contact buzz. :p
Jen, I hope you have a helluva time! :) Make TJ take you to Fat Tony's and get a pic.

Are you just going to be in town for the day?
I don't live close to the Woodlands (57 miles), but I work 32 miles away.
Can't afford another ticket?!?!?!?! General Admission Lawn Seating is only $29.50. ;) I'm sure the gas to get here will be enough. :dammit:
I don't have lawn tickets.
I'll be coming in late morning on the 30th then the concert that night and I have all day on the 31st.

Big spender!!!! :p
The 30th is my moms birthday, that wouldn't work for me anyway. :tease:
Where are you staying? Maybe lunch or an early dinner?
Lunch or early dinner would be perfect. Let's plan on that. :)
