Okay gang....last night's show with RATT went great! The crowd was VERY receptive to us, and we fed off that energy immensely! Unfortunately, RATT's tour manager was a hardass and wouldn't let us use our pyrotechnics or smoke effects. Oh well...good to know that they were a little fearful, right?

Here's the deal. The show was videotaped by my lovely wife...and she did a bang up job! Since you guys have been so supportive of us, I'm gonna make this offer. I know most of you aren't from NY, so you probobly won't get the chance to see us play until we're signed and on tour, but now you can if you want. I was extremly impressed!! Okay... I know that Greg loves Yngwie... He plays so much like him it's scary!
In fact, the whol band had the Yngwie sound with the keyboards and all... very cool!! I could hear your bass very well (means you are good!) and I took your advice and listened to the CD first and then watched the video... Again... very cool.. I will be so suprised if you guys don't help make our favorite music popular again.

Pagan.. I love the CD.. thanks again for sending it.. I listen to it in the car everytime I'm in it.. so far my favorites (meaning I've played them so much that I know all of the words already) are "You Won't See Me Fall", "With or Without You", but my very fave is "Love N' Chains". They are all really catchy.. the Montrose song "Voyager" has a "Great White" feel to it... while "With or Without You" has a Whitesnake" feel... but all of it is "Yngwie-ish"... LOVE IT UNCONDITIONALLY!!!!!

I am so proud of you guys... there is definatly "Super Star" potential in your band... I sure hope that our kind of music can filter back into mainstream again.. you guys would really make it big.. I am sure of it... very talented musicians!

Thank you Tina....hearing things like that is what keeps bands like us going. I'm sort of amazed at things. I hear people all the time complaining how music isn't as good anymore, and they wish 80's style rock would come back, yet here I am offering a free video to people and only a few have taken up the offer. Apathy is what killed 80's music, and it's what will keep it dead.

Bands like ourselves and Atello are trying to bring a pulse back to the corpse, but it's tough. We have an emailing list that I dredged together by going through the member directory on AOL and looking at profiles. You'd be amazed how many people who have "I love 80's metal, I wish it would come back!" in their profiles, then when we mail them flyers of our gigs, ask to be removed from the list.

Even here...we have a bunch or New Yorkers on the Xchange. How many have been to Atello or Livesay shows? When the Voodoo Lounge was having it's 80's metal Wednesdays, I went. The only way we'll bring it back is to support it. I know we'll have a better shot at making it overseas. Kids here just don't get it anymore.

Sorry for venting. Just feeling a little frustrated today....Once again Tina, thanx for the vote of confidence. Like I said, it's what keeps us going.

Well, where there's a will there's a way. That's why I started this 80sxchange.com - My dream was to get 80s music back into the mainstream by getting so many people together in one spot - then exploding somewhere to get heard. In the Members Lounge, there is a message where people are posting radio stations that play 80s music. The first plan of attack is each and every one of us sending emails to these stations thanking them. Next, is stations that don't play any 80s style music. All of us will send email requests, etc. It can be done - and it'll be done right here and now. We just need participation... - Which I understand is hard to come by...
