WWE.com has learned that SmackDown Superstar Christian has quit World Wrestling Entertainment. Be sure to stay tuned to WWE.com as more information becomes available.
Word is his contract had expired, and when they gave him the new one at the arena prior to the SMACKDOWN! tapings, they wanted him to sign it on the spot. He declined, worked LAST weeks SMACKDOWN! and then quit after this past week's tapings.

Now THIS makes me angry!! I've always dug Christian, the man never got a fair break, even though the true blue fan base was there. So much for praying Edge got his head outta his own ass and teamed back up with Christian for another five second pose. But hey, maybe John Cena or JBL can keep us entertained :rolleyes:

THen Christian shows up on RAW. Apparently he has agreed to work the PPV tonite and then will reconsider the offer they made.

That was confusing seeing him on Raw after hearing about him quitting. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Sad! one of the best young talents on the roster & they do nothing but bury him week in and week out? No wonder he quit.

I have never been a big fan of Christian. He might be an OK wrestler, but to me he was never very entertaining. He never had any particular angle, and never showed much personality...bring back George The Animal Steel!!!!:lol:
