I have downloaded and have been using opera for a few months now. The only problem I really seem to have thusfar is that I have tried to switch my color scheme here from Purple Rain to the Blood red (or whatever it is called).The website says I have changed my preferences successfully, but when I refresh, I am still under the old color scheme. If I open up the Xchange with IE, it is RED, if I open with Firefox, it is RED, but when I use OPERA it remains purple. I have tried logging off, and when I return, I get the same purple screen.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Not sure what is happening with Opera for you. I tried to recreate the problem, but I was able to make the change and have it stick. You might try clearing the cache, history and cookies from Opera and try to set it again and see if it sticks. The big problem I have had with Opera so far is that my menu disappeared and I had to reinstall to get them back.

well, I cleared my history just fine, and pulled up my cache, but couldnt figure out how to clear it. But, I decided to log out anyhow, and noticed at the bottom of the page that pops up after you log out, a drop down menu with PURPLE RAIN hilighted. So, I click on that, and then could choose the blood red/night/whatever its called, and now I have it up and its changed over. Not sure why it wouldnt change from the user CP though.

Yeah, that is how I was changing it. Never tried it through the control panel.
