I received my copy of my new book today! It's always exciting to hold a copy of a book that you have written in your hands. This is the first book I've written that actually has a photograph of me on the back, and I'm a little nervous. What happens if I get a real stalker after me? ( :rolleyes: ) Yeah, right! ;) Someone could use it for a dartboard, however!

The book is only $10.95, which isn't too expensive, in my opinion. It should be available to purchase in approx. two weeks. Actually, the book was supposed to be out a while back, but, after Sept. 11, the publication date was pushed back. I have another book coming out in approx two months as well. That might be the last of my 80s-inspired books for a while, if my editor doesn't extend my book contract!!!

Luckily, no, I didn't need Madonna's permission to write the book. Not that she would have said no if I had needed her permission, as the book is written with great respect and admiration for her amazing talent and imagination. With any luck, she'll pick up a copy herself and contact me!!!

Thanks, sweetie!!! Actually, I had just grown out of my Max Headroom look when this photo was taken, which was a good thing!!! Rhonda used to crimp her hair until it was standing several feet off her head.

Great pic Triv! Your hair looks like something I had back in the 80's! :lol: I hated that growing out stage. :) Rhonda looks cool, I used to date a girl with a lot of hair like that too. :)
