I'm watching WBRZ Channel 2 in Baton Rouge. Breaking News......The Industrial Canal levee is breaching and New Orleans is flooding AGAIN!

Correction: The water is "overtopping" the levee where it has been shored up from before.

Geez. Why would anyone want to rebuild there?! I mean, stay in LA if you want, but move away from the hazard zones. :( Hope this gets some immediate attention, Jen.

Eeek. I don't know if it's such a good idea to rebuild there. After all, it's only a matter of time before it happens again.

I personally think that the big guy up above us is trying to do away with NOLA ...

I heard Jen and I are expecting tropical force winds ! Not quite as bad as for Katrina !

Jen* I pray that you and Sandy, as well as others in the path of Hurricane Rita stay safe. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now, I'm praying that Rita's bark will be worse than her bite. Stay safe and let us know as soon as you can that you're o.k.

I feel for you Jen, and everyone else who's been dealing with this first hand.

It's also sad that the Houston residents have run out of gas, etc. just trying to evacuate, and now are told it's ok, but they should stay away, regardless. :( Something's not right, but I'll keep my mouth shut.
