Hi all! ANy Loverboy fans here? I know you're out there!!! They had some awesome rocking tunes and I think they are a testament to the great sound of the 80's! Hehehehe ALthough Mike Reno is kinda overweight now I know the guy hasn't lost his voice...Saw him on a "Where r they Now" and was shocked at his size...LOL!!!! But then who am I to talk! hehehehehe...
Oh I love Loverboy. I have seen them 12 times and have met them all numerous times. The last time I saw them was at the Calgary Stampede in 97. Mike may have gained some weight but he's still sexy up on stage (and one of the nicest guys, big flirt too
I have all their albums and just love their songs When it's over and This Could be the Night. Actually I love all their stuff, it's nice to see another fan on the board. Were you familiar with Street Heart? Matt Frenette was their drummer before Loverboy.

I had never seen Loverboy, but I used to look forward to 5:00 every Friday afternoon...my favorite radio station would "blow the weekend whistle" and play "Everybody's Workin' for the Weekend". I love that song! They also sing "Relax" right?
My sister saw Loverboy this summer and said Mike Reno looks like Drew Carey now
Relax was done by "Frankie Goes To Hollywood". Loverboy's bigger songs were: Working For The Weekend, The Kid is Hot Tonite, When it's Over, Turn Me Loose,Heaven in Your Eyes from the Movie Top Gun and Mike Reno had a song Almost Paradise (with Ann Wilson of Heart) for Footloose.
Drew Carey??? Oh he isn't that big!!! LOL

I have never seen them either but here too we had a local radio station blow the 5 pm whistle twice and then hit this track LOUD! Hehehehehe...I been busy and sorry it took so long to check back! I am glad to see other fans of this band and if you never heard them definitely try those tracks listed above...All ROCK! (Even the ballad rocks and was on the radio the other day which made me post this in the first place!
