Hey Sal.. I think I mentioned this somewhere else..
Since you are the "top dog" of 80sXchange.. what do you think of maybe having an "80sXchange Members" 80's party? Obviously not soon..it would take much planning... and everyone interested would have to make it to the designated location (which I realize will be tough)..

but if the event is big enough.. I think our members will want to make a road-trip (or flight) to meet each other and party 80's style.

(I'm from Illinois, and If given a date, I could plan a trip myself) I'm always looking for something different to do on my vacation.

Well, just something to think about... maybe other members may want to plan the party instead... what do you all think? Anyone interested in hosting one?

I have never been to any of the states in the east! I know I'm new to this, but I thought I had a pretty good idea-- I mean, any party with a bunch of die-hard 80s fans would be cool. Man, just think about it-- blasting the 80s tunes without everyone else on your case to "turn that crap OFF I said!! No one wants to hear your crappy 80s music, Sue." Well, maybe that's just me. But anyway, my idea was: maybe there could be a BUNCH of 80s parties, in different locations, to make it easier for everyone to attend who wanted to, no matter where they lived. And each party could have its own theme. I personally opt for the Valley Girl movie theme... I've always thought that if I ever made it big and became sickeningly wealthy, I'd throw these huge Valley Girl parties-- I'd pay to fly people in to my mansion in the Hollywood Hills just to be able to party with people who'd know all the songs from the movie and would dress the part too. How cool would that be!!! There could be all kinds of different 80s themes, though-- everyone could pick their party depending on traveling time and theme. Hmm-- now that I re-read my post, I sound kind of desperate there-- paying people to come party with me. I don't know how to insert faces into my text here yet, or I'd throw in a "pardon my nerdiness" emoticon, whatever that would look like.
