I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. Does anyone have a favorite Valentine memory from the 80's? I'm sitting here racking my brain and I just can't think of one. I guess it would have to be before I got married LOL and that was in 82. Wow this is a bummer. I will have to come back later after I think of one. Valentine's day memories....remember in school, exchanging valentines, that was so fun! Did anyone ever watch that Peanuts Valentine special they used to show? That's an 80's memory for me....I love Snoopy..I'll miss him..*sigh*

Charlie Brown never got any valentines - I always felt sorry for him : ) My favorite Valentine memory goes back to my first love. He sent me a red carnation in homeroom (I still have it frozen in my parents deep freezer) he took me to lunch at Dairy Queen and then we went to the Valentines prom that night. He was so sweet : )

I'm listening to the valentine's day special on the radio, it's there "No Sappy love songs" weekend. At least I'm not listening to country music.....then I'd be totally depressed........

Love Bites is a great love/anti-love song! :) That is my fav. Also, the ONLY Van Halen song I like is "How Do I Know When It's Love". Well, I don't really have any great Valentine's Day memories from the 80s. I was in elementary school and my first year of middle school. I do remember giving a Valentine's card to a boy I liked in 4th grade. He was not interested, damn! :)

I don't think that any of you are old. Old is when you hate everything, can't drive for shit, and think you are always the wisest person in the room (even though you have no clue what culture is like these days). There are 80 years olds who are still young! You all are awesome and youth is in the heart! :)
