A lot of times people don't find out until it's to late, that's probably what happened to him...

Yeah.. Sometimes you're a bit too scared to find out as well. Then, when it becomes unbareable and you just HAVE to get checked out, it's too late.. Life can be very cruel sometimes... Especially when it's good people that get hurt.
