It's breath taking!!! I'm am just so totally overwhelmed by it. It's just way too incredible and you should be famous for it. That's really awsome stuff Sal. I WANT MORE!!!

Thank you, Amy. /ubb/smilies/smile.gif I appreciate your kinds words. What I have written are serious feelings that I have toward life. I feel very strongly about the thoughts that I have written about, so it's very easy to be so emotional with my words. I've never shown these things to anybody so I really do appreciate what you said...
Thank you!!!
P.S. My number one goal in life (and the purpose I feel I am here for) is to open a center for survivors of sexual assault/abuse. It's something that is very hush hush in this world and somebody needs to make a difference...

She's right Sal...you really do have some deep stuff. I think it was the two that were closed topics were really something. I'm in the same boat as you. I never showed any of my stuff until recently. Even still, there's a ton I have yet to unveil. What I've put in here and on my website is just a sampling. When the time is right I might bring up more.
You got some noble goals there...hope they pan out some day /ubb/smilies/smile.gif

That really is a noble thing Sal. We need more people like you around. As a survivor myself, I'd have to say thank you Sal.

Well, just seeing you mention how you are a survivor makes me grit my teeth and hold back some tears of anger.. But I'm glad that you are a 'survivor' and have come through the tunnel. Like they say, the only way out is through.. Just try your best to keep the past in the past. Everybody makes mistakes or falls into trouble at some point or another - but we all have the strength to get through it if we try. Life is a big learning experience. Sometimes there will be things that happen to us that we cannot control. EVEN if we really COULD have controlled them, we aren't all geniuses who know exactly what to do at a moments notice. It's easy to say "I could have" or "I should have" now, but at the time things happen it's more difficult. Just like when you think of something really good to say after it's too late.
P.S. If you ever have a really bad flashback, just make sure you quickly grab onto an object near you (like a chair) to stay grounded. This will tell your brain that you are not in the past, and that you are holding the object right now in the present.
Be well.......

My favorite quote is "What don't kill ya can oly make ya stronger" So as long as you do survive, you know you'll pull through wiser and stronger. I learned a lot from my experience. Specialy about myself. I guess it somewhat made me who I am. I also learned that I am not the only one (sadly) and that other people need help. So that made me concentrate more on helping people out then thinking about my past. Thanks a lot for the tip though Sal, it'll probably come in handy /ubb/smilies/smile.gif
