(another poem for you guys to read)
He said I was like the Zodiac.
Pure, beautiful, perfect.
He said he could look at the sky
and he could see me looking back.
The moon, he said, could never outshine,
could never compete with my eyes.
The cool blue dusk, the evening's caress,
could never hold up to my touch.
He said I was like the lion,
intimidating and strong.
He said I was like the virgin,
innocent and sweet.
He said I was like the hunter,
experienced and smart.
He said I was like the scales,
thoughtful and just.
He said film could never capture
the beauty and liveliness I possess.
When he asked me to stay forever,
my tears to him said yes.
