Yeah, you do need cable to get a good look at it and to play with it.. Hopefully, soon, everyone will have fast connections for the same cost as a regular phone line...

Hmm? I don't have a cable modem but I could see everything just fine. It was kinda slow a first but everything worked. :) Hopefully by late summer or early fall we should have cable access here. 56k is like a turtle compared to cable from what I heard.

Not Man we had a 56k modem until Christmas and we never clocked higher than 44k it was so frustrating. It costs $25 @ month more but we were going to have to get another line put in otherwise so no one got a busy signal anymore. : )

Cable is way, way, way faster than 56k. Definatly get it if you can! :) Otherwise, 56k isn't so bad either. It's better than the speeds I started at on my Commodore! I had a 300 baud modem.. 300! 56k = 56,000 baud! ;)

Zel what connection speeds do you run at now? I have heard they are extremely fast. I can't wait until it gets here. :) Now that is slow Sal. :)

I think the cable that I am using is about 224K. I do know that I've downloaded programs over 60 megs in about 3 minutes.. Now that is fast!

224k!!! That sounds more to me like a bullet train....LOL I'm lucky if I could download a 4meg file @ 56k (mp3) in about 10 minutes.

4meg in 10 minutes is pretty good, really... Very good for 56k..

Eventually, I am going to get 80'sXChange an alternative Flash site as an option - like on the Ford site.. Fast connections get the Flash site, slow ones get the one you see now...
