I don't know if any of you know this but here in Australia the GST (about 10%) is about to come in and the government has decided that things like tampons and pads are to be included in the gst. As you women out there would probably guess this is causing a huge uproar. Now the weird thing is that they say it isn't going to be tax free because it's not for medical problems or something like that. Well excuse me! Haven't they heard of fibroids, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome - which I have), endometriosis and other gynaecological problems which a lot of bleeding is a result. (sorry you guys out there!):) But things like sunscreen, condoms, baby formula are not taxed. How do they justify that? How can they say that? I think they're just money hungry and know that they can get a lot of money out of us women. Pfff! can't half tell a majority of the government is male huh?

GST is government state tax! And the prime minister said if he was elected in he wouldn't be brining it in but guess what, he lied! The bugger.>: It's ridiculus the things that are going to be taxed and the things that aren't.
