I wrote this for my former girlfriend(when we were still together)and never gave it to her(I really don't know why)it's one of the few poems I've written thats not depressing so I figured I'd post it......
OF DRAGONS BREATH AND PASSIONS LIGHT

Unavoidable,inescapeable
you trap me in your gaze.
Your eyes,my prison,in which I'm lost forever,
and lost within my own yerning.
My lust and love lit by dragons breath,
my passions light shines once more,
bringing back to yon green fields
the innocence I've lost.
Your touch,so pure,my soul,it breathes
and pulled from depths in which it dwells.
I see the light that gives me warmth
and hopes and dreams of youth.
One man,one woman,one eternal embrace
frozen forever in perfect time.
And if that time shall never come again
I'll always remember and smile.
Lust and love in one true kiss
the kiss that burns like dragons breath
engulfing me in the fire I seek
and bringing me home to rest.
