View Full Version : Who wants to marry a multi-millionaire
God I watched this show last night (too tired to reach the remote). I couldn't believe these women would parade themselves around on american television to marry a man they haven't even seen - let alone spoken to. I got right down to the 5 finalists and then I fell asleep so I'm curios anyway.... which one did he marry and was the man an ogre. anyone else see this show?
I didn't see the show but I heard about it on the radio this morning on the Bob and Tom show. I guess from the way they were talking it was more of a joke than anything. Oh well...:)
It was a joke
It was voluntary female white slavery. I don't understand people that would marry for money without ever meeting the person. I can't really classify these women as golddiggers either since 90% of them have professional rewarding careers.
Unfortunately falling asleep before he 'picked' his bride makes it a bit of a cliffhanger like who shot jr lol
Hey t-shirt idea for Sal Who shot J.R's chicken (since he's on the chicken theme these days) ;P

Sal Collaziano 2-18-00, 01:40 PM Hey, that's a good one!
Who Shot JR's Chicken!?

Mirdonamy 2-21-00, 06:42 AM I just read on Yahoo! news that the guy was a fake. He is not a millionaire at all! He was able to fool Fox into believing him (somehow), and he's really a comedian. They say it was a publicity stunt. Fox seems a bit shocked, but overall they think it is funny. The couple is on their honeymoon, and they haven't been able to reach the girl for comment. So weird. They say he wasn't cute. I didn't watch it though
Wow major bummer well it severs them right in a way for pimping marriages.
hehe...

hey thanks for the pic. So he picked the emergency room nurse/gulf war vet. Well too bad their bliss was short. I'm trying to feel sorry for her but she took her chances. She still gets a new car and a $30,000 rock for her troubles.
I watched her on TV the other morning. She seems like a nice enough girl but she should have thought about the consequences before going through with it - she did bring it on herself. Goes to show you that money really can't buy you love
Peace Love Rock and Roll
Elles
God I don't think I could go back to work after that ordeal either - everyone knowing you sold yourself on national television. And with her in the emergency room she'll distract tons of people from the issue - people in trauma. Well i'm sure Trauma in the ER will be heading to her neck of the woods
toribush 2-25-00, 04:37 PM who would'nt have done the same thing honestly????
Not me! Thats up there with going on the Jerry Springer show - no thanks.
Sal Collaziano 2-27-00, 10:25 AM How important is money? Just be happy. Enough money to be comfortable and healthy with alittle fun is all I need. I don't need yachts, personal jets and choppers or anything like that...
toribush 2-27-00, 11:08 AM sounds like you are a person who is already living
comfortable!!!
As it turns out..... The reason she married him was "to have a nice weekend away, and the gifts are nice" They annulled their marriage with no hard feelings and a great vacation LOL. I can think of better ways to get a weekend away!!!!!
