I am having an 80's party for my 30th In October and I am wanting to make some invitations. but I am unsure what I should write in them and what pictures I shoudl use. Can anyone help me please.
I want the invites to be kept in the theme of the party.
thanks
nicole
You could use words such as: "You are all like invited to my totally awesome birthday party....." Valley Girl slang is VERY 80s. ;)
As for pictures, maybe you could do something along the lines of 80s pop stars like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, Prince.... Like a collage of their faces on the front of the invitation. Or 80s pop culture such as Rubiks Cube, Pac Man, Max Headroom, original MTV logo...
Hallmark Card Studio 2005 Deluxe is a wonderful card making software that is very user friendly & has all kinds of designs to choose from. I think I paid around $40 for it at Best Buy.
Good luck & have a great time :thumb:
What she said. :D Stick around and have a look-see, especially in the Styles & Culture forum. Should find a lot of stuff there. :)

Welcome to the xchange Nicole !!!!! Have fun posting :)
You can put pictures of old Michael Jackson (Thriller days) or Madonna... What's your fave 80s song?? You can use a line of that song and put it in the card. :)
