I know there's a lot of fake crap in wrestling but I'm pretty sure that was real blood on Chris Jericho! You should have heard me sorry I can't repeat what I said though. I'd like to see someone do that to Triple H, that jerk!

Yeah Hahaha Jeff Jarrett lost. I hate that F** http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Just venting a little anger http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Actually Blazie, that was a work. The last real injury to hit the WWF was Val Venis' shoulder injury (at the hands of Rikishi) and Rikishi's need of stitches in the head after Venis' monitor shot to the head.

I too am estatic that Jarrett lost (I hate him with a passion too) and equally happy that Booker T, a more than deserving champion, has earned the strap. I'm sure he would have liked it more under less duress, but he got it. I don't know if you caught Bash at the Beach, but Vince Russo really screwed Hogan and basically destroyed his exit from the business. Jarrett went to the ring, Russo came out, Hogan came out. Russo told Jarrett to just lay there so Hogan can get the win (Hogan refused to lose to Jarrett as they had planned...I don't blame him. For a man the stature of Hogan to lose to a no talent, nobody like Jarrett just isn't right under any circumstance and Hogan knew that). This is what Russo had to say:

"There's only one way for me to do this, and that's to tell it like it is. Three week's ago I left WCW, and quite frankly I didn't know if I was going to come back. And the reason I didn't know if I was going to come back or not was because from day one that I've been in WCW, I've done nothing but deal with the bullshit of the politics behind that curtain. The fact of the matter is, I've got a wife, I've got three kids at home and I really don't need this shit. But let me tell you the reason why I did come back. I came back for everyone of the guys in that locker room that week in, week out bust their ass for WCW. I came back for the Booker T's, I came back for every single guy in MIA, I came back for the animals, I came back for Jarrett, I came back for the guys behind that curtain that give a shit about this company. And let me tell you who doesn't give a shit about this company. That godamn politician Hulk Hogan. Cause let me tell you people what happened out here earlier in the ring. All day I've been playing politics with Hulk Hogan, cause Hulk Hogan wants to play his creative control card. And to Hulk Hogan that meant tonight in the middle of this ring, even though he knew it was bullshit, he beats Jeff Jarrett. Well guess what, Hogan got his wish. Hogan got his belt, and he went the hell home and I promise everybody or I will go in the godamn grave, you will never see that piece of shit again! But I also sat out there with the people just like you. I know you paid good to come here tonight, no one is going to be ripped off here tonight. So Hulk Hogan now has the WCW Belt. Now Hulk lets refer to that belt as 'The Hulk Hogan Memorial Belt' cause from here on in that belt don't mean shit! Because there will be a new WCW belt and as far as I'm concerned that belt still belongs to the one guy that busts his ass week in and week out and you people can love him or hate him, but he doesn't screw anyone back there, and that's Jeff Jarrett. Now wait a minute. Jeff Jarrett is still the official WCW Champion, but he will defend that title in this ring tonight. And he will defend that title against that son of a bitch back there that for fourteen years has busted his ass in WCW but can't get a god damn break because of the Hulk Hogan, and I am talking about Booker T. Booker T and Jeff Jarrett are the two reasons I am in this damn business to begin with. So tonight in this ring, two deserving guys, Jarrett and Booker, will compete for the WCW Title. And Hogan you big bald SOB, Kiss My Ass!!!"

Granted, some of what he had to say is true, Hogan created the platform for wrestling as we know it today and to screw him like that in his last match is really sad.

Yeah, I got my connections in the biz http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Injuries in wrestling are tricky...never can tell when it's a work or for real unless told from an inside source. Jericho's all good though http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif He's another guy I knew was going to be big (before Jerichoholics even existed...back in his ECW days). Y2J will never....e...e....ever let the Jerichoholics down http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/wink.gif
