Sounds like whatever has happened wasn't as bad as 2 weeks ago. Only 1 injury reported so far.
I hope they catch some of the b@stards this time!
Stay safe, UK friends! :ghug:
KimJoy69 7-21-05, 09:44 AM  WTF?!?! Think it might be a copy-cat type thing?
I think you're right Kim. Some major A-holes trying to act "big" or something
:ghug: to our British friends!!!
CNN has a map showing the location of the blasts. It indicates the number of deaths at each place. The total is over 50 at this time. :(
Please Please Please be safe if you're in or around London. :ghug:
Princess 7-21-05, 10:28 AM This is terrible news :(
KimJoy69 7-21-05, 11:00 AM WHAAAAAAAAT?! OMG... Last I saw there were many injuries, and one death. It's up to 50 already??!!! *sigh*
London area xchangers, please check in when you can... :ghug:
This is so awful :( I'm so sorry our friends in England are having to go through this. :ghug:
Stay strong!!! :rose:
F*cking B@st@rds! When will they learn that bombs and Terrorism won't work on Londoners or the west?
Stay safe London and God Bless!
I'd just like to reassure xchangers there are apparently NO deaths today. I think you may be getting confused with two weeks ago. The explosions today were minor, but still worrying.
I was working when it happened, the tube lines started to get suspended and i think we all knew a full evacuation was coming.
As i say today's incident is very minor compared to last weeks.

Nonetheless, as always, Our hearts and prayers here in the states are with you and your fellow Londoners Gazza. Stay safe and strong!

It's great news that you and everyone in London are okay, however not many things in this world can make me as mad right now as what these terrorists are doing, I can't believe the nerve they have to do this a second time in two weeks. I hope they are caught quick, and prosecuted to the fullest (even though that won't be enough) .
Maybe it's time to step up the offensive in countries we KNOW are still actively supporting or allowing these vermin to live and plan and train.

EXACTLY!! And I may add putting more pressure on Pakistan to hunt down the al Queada hiding in their mountains!
KimJoy69 7-21-05, 01:01 PM Careful guys... we're walking the line of this thread going "political."
Gazza, THANK YOU for the update. I'm so sorry for those that got hurt, but I'm glad to know there have been no deaths.
Careful guys... we're walking the line of this thread going "political."
Agreed Kimmy. But with the news of the second attack it's kinda hard not to get political. But at the risk of this thread closing, we should watch what we say politically.
80sTrivia 7-21-05, 02:18 PM Such a pity the world has to put up with this... :( Stay strong, our wonderful British friends... :ghug:
Thanks Gazza for setting me straight. I must have seen a map of the blasts of 7/7. I'm very happy that no one was hurt today. :rose:
stlkev70 7-21-05, 07:32 PM If this is a copy cat they lower than the f*ckers who did it 2 weeks ago!
80's fanatic 7-21-05, 10:19 PM This is horrible !!!! I can't believe that it is happening again, so close to the last attacks. To all our British xchangers, please stay safe and know that we all are wishing for these attacks to come to an end
BrandyBlue 7-22-05, 02:01 PM This is so wrong  Hurting such wonderful people--I have yet to meet a British person I didn't like, I can't understand what makes people hate so much to do something like this....It's so sick
Yeah I got up this morning weaking up to public radio news... This is what the news was about... so sad... Then I watch the news on TV.
I am glad people are safe. They just release the photos of these guys... So to the UK friends see if you can recognize them some how... They must be caught! :irked:
Hope everyone is being extra careful in London - and all over England, actually. :( Where there's one cell of asshats, there are sure to be others.
Stay strong and stay safe, Englanders! {{{hug}}}
Darkhaven 7-23-05, 05:36 PM Don't fear these cowards my friends. The bastards feed off of it. You show them a change in your behavior, and they push even harder. Stay safe, but stand firm.
This are indeed scary times for people in the UK and in particular those living in London. These recent events on our own home soil have no doubt brought us closer to the horrors of terrorism, although being honest compared to 9/11 it really isn't yet on the same scale.
Without wishing to cross the fine political line here, if this continues then I regret to say I will be seeking my future away from my homeland, as I continue to be as equally appalled by the decisions my Government are continue to make regarding the management of this issue as the terrorist acts themselves.
That's all I'm going to say on the matter, as I personally believe it's very important to keep discussion of such things away from here but, boy, am I angry at the moment :grrr:
