Note to self, bird houses attract bears... :uhoh: I wonder what gazing balls attract?

New Hampshire is proposing a law--a good one, I think--that will prohibit the use of outdoor bird feeders for the first couple of weeks of Spring, when the bears are the most active. They do this because bear attacks go up sharply right after hibernation is over. Bears wake up hungry, and then get REALLY grumpy. Then they do what bears do--get food to eat--and if they do it where people are, they often get shot and killed for their efforts.

Bears will eat almost ANYTHING!
