This was a change....I was very concerned about all of my friends in the south..because of the hurricane...that sucker came right up here to the midwest! LOL!

We were expecting at least 4" or more of rain in the past 24 hours so we were all at the stores...didn't turn out THAT bad, but at least I have plenty of food for a while.

The eye of Dennis was staying about 30 miles south of us for a while but the storm spread wider as it spinned...................also was waiting for the 30++ MPH winds..didn't happen.

Yes..we did get alot of MUCH NEED RAIN...(thank God for that!) YAY FOR THE BEANS!...
Going to have some showers for the next 12 hours or so...but glad that it wasn't how they predicted!

We're supposed to get some of the rain here at the farm tonight and tomorrow. We could use the rain, as everything is dry as a bone and we're having to bring in hay for the horses to eat!!!

Not here Kev...we're only a little over an hour away from ST. LOUIS...and our pool was pretty full by this morning...not the 3" that they said, but got more than a heavy mist..right now, just sprinkles....supposed to have some showeres tonight...but sure am glad that the "eye" and the rains have spread out now :)

Here in the Milwaukee area it's been raining only a little. Like Kev said...it was more of a heavy mist! Just annoying enough to make you run and get a hooded jacket. :mwaha:

Why doesn't anyone believe me? Yesterday..what was left of "the eye" was located only about 20 miles south of us...if even that far .

Ironically, my friend was up from MISSISSIPPI last week and they had to get back to take care of things before Dennis hit...then it comes up here! :)

I believe ya. ;) It's been raining on and off here, and it had rained overnight. But you're right, we need the rain. The grass is looking more brown than anything right now.
