Does anyone have a tv theme song that just absolutely makes your skin crawl? I mean, you absolutely never want to hear it again..EVER!!

I agree Sheibub - Dallas's big intro bit the big one back then. And now the Theme from Love Boat (okay that was 70s) drives me bonkers because people tend to like singing that on the way out on the Casino shuttle (gag).

I'm going to have to go with the TV theme that is probably the worst one I've ever heard. It's remained the same through the 70s, 80s and 90s. It was made even worse by the fact that my parents used to watch it religiously and when it came on, I knew there was something I really really wanted to watch on the other channell! :mad:

Full House and Family Matters (premiered in 1989, counts as an '80s show). I think it was the same guy who sung all the TGIF themes, including the also-annoying Step by Step.

I never liked the theme music to Alf. It just sounded crappy. Also, I loathed the theme to Step By Step. Come to think of it, I loathed the show, too. :yucky:

It was a continuous thing. Great series would be played on the opposite channell. They would come and go, but they would always be opposite ruddy Coronation Street! :mad:

I missed a lot of episodes of Knight Rider, BJ McKay & The Bear, Simon & Simon and a lot of other great action and detective shows.

I hated "Gimme a breaK" Nel Carter was a crappy singer and yet she sang on almost every episode!
