What were some of the more amusing or creative videos you saw during the 80's? The videos "Speed Demon" by Michael Jackson (with the rabbit on the motorcycle) and "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock were pretty creative. "Land of Confusion" and "Opposites Attract" are pretty amusing to watch.

"Take On Me" by A-Ha was pretty creative and "Harlem Shuffle" by The Rolling Stones.
I always enjoyed watching that "Land Of Confusion" video by Genesis, it was a fun video, and I loved the song.
Being a Pat Benatar fan, one of her more creative and fun music video's was for her song "Anxiety (Get Nervous)".
The video has Pat sitting in a dentist office waiting room waching patients walkng out all bandaged up and holding their mouths in pain. Her face expressions change with each patient that comes out. Another scene show Pat being strapped down to the chair by the dentist and a male assistant, with a midget walking around the chair with a dentist tools tray attached to a hard hat on the midgets head dumping the tools from it into a drawer in a cabinet. The dentist's assistant comes out with a jack hammer, the dentist with a workshop drill, and Pat with terrified look on her face, her hair frizzed like on the album cover of Get Nervous. At the end of the video , Pat is the dentist's nurse with a freaky look on her face as she coaxes a little kid sitting in the waiting room to come in, he has a terrified look on his face.
The video is a riot!! LOL

I loved the video for "Anxiety" I bought her album just to get that song at the time!!!
The video with Tom Petty in the Alice in Wonderland scene is called "Don't Come Around Here No More", ImSooSure. It is a pretty neat video to watch. My favorite video by Duran Duran is "Hungry Like The Wolf". The video by A-ha is pretty neat; would definitely be different going back and forth from the real world to a comic strip.

This may actually be early 90's, but I found the Tom Petty video Into the Great Wide Open with Johnny Depp to be head and shoulders above other video's when it comes to mirroring the lyrics to the song and the production qualities and star power for a video, as a teenager growing up when Video's first became really popular, I enjoyed nothing more than a Twisted Sister/Quiet Riot video .... Hey I just hit 300 posts
