The best forgotten american band of the 80s has to be in my humble opinon has to be The Call, l fell in love with this band the moment l herd "the walls came down" from Modern Romans. lam an absolute addict for their music. If anybody has any info or has seen this band live, l would love to hear about it. The walls came down was only a minor hit in Australia, but still gets a play on flash backs.

Everywhere I Go is still one of my favourite songs ever.

Haven't really kept up with them for a long time though.

Name some of their other songs. I remember the name, but their songs are not ringing a bell. I know if I heard them it would come back to me.

I'd like to know too. I saw you mention this in another post and I'm curious.

I'm going to do a search to see if there's anything out there to jog my memory in the mean time :)

I am abit sad that there has not been any information forthcoming about this classic band. I think the reason l like them so much is because when l first heard them in the early 80s l thought they were an english band. The style was angry with powerful words and driving basslines and the very distintive use of piano and Hammard organ. A good example is in '
the wall came down'. " i dont believe there are russians and ther aint no yanks, just corporate criminals playing with tanks". The cd's l have are Modern Romans, The Reconciled, Into the woods, Red Moon and Heaven and Back. Heaven and Back has a song called 'when will america become america' which l understand was used by Al Gore during your last election. See if that gets anybody memory going.
