The 80's was the best decade for movies..did anyone have a memorable qoute from a movie? Of course there's a few from our brat pack collection..
"Does Barry Manillow know that you raid his wardrobe?"--Breakfast Club
"Gee Ricky, I'm sorry your mom blew up"-Better Off Dead
"The Donger need food!" Sixteen Candles

I much prefer this line fromm Better of Dead - "I thought if Casanova and I had nothing to say to each other he'd get bored, go away. Instead he uses it as a chance to put his testicles all over me.". <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Check out my signature. Along with Surely you must be joking? No I'm not and stop calling me Shirley. I love Leslie Nielson! Also my old signature "Your lips would make a lollipop too happy" Morris Day to Appolonia in Purple Rain. Then there was Spicoli in "Fast Times" when he ran a red light he says "It was yellow a minute ago I'm sure". Or how about Yoda in Empire Strikes Back "Tried have you? Do or do not there is no try."

The one I like from Sixteen Candles is the one where Long Duk Dong is talking about what happened to Grampa's car:

"AUTOMOBILE???? lake, big lake."

Isn't that how it goes? I haven't watched it in awhile. It is just so funny how he says Automobile.

The redirect is slow so hold your horses.

These are most of my friends from high school in the wilds of Oregon, New Year's 2000. disclaimer: I wasn't there!! So I have no clue what they're talking about. But the stuff about PBR is funny.

God, Blue Velvet scares me, but I love it.

Oh yeah - my best friend´s and mine favourite movie!
I think it has the highest FPM-rate (Fluck per minute) of all times - not even a X-rated flick can hold a candle against it... :D

Dennis Hopper plays his role as Frank Booth same scary as hilarious...

Another quote which became so common to me...
"I´m too old for that shit" - Danny Glover in all parts of Lethal Weapon... :)

One of my faves too, especially when u see Gramdpa clap his hand over Dong's head to wake him up, and when Dong turns around he stinks like dogbreath.
I think Dong imitates the sounds of a wild carride and a crash before laughing...

Which movie was it where Dennis Hopper said "Let's hit the f***in' road!" Is it Easy Rider or Blue Velvet? I forget. It's sampled in "Jesus Built My Hot Rod" by Ministry.

LOL, how could I have forgotten the chainsaw, Xistenza? ;) I love that movie. I am so buying that on DVD.

I love every word out of Anthony Michael-Hall's mouth in the drunk scene in Weird Science. I laugh til' I cry every time I see him sitting there trying to act cool like the black guys.

Here are some quotes from the 80s "Dirty Harry" movies. I want to say these words to those terrorist bastards...

From "Sudden Impact"...

"Listen, punk. To me you're nothin' but dogshit, you understand? And a lot of things can happen to dogshit. It can be scraped up with a shovel off the ground. It can dry up and blow away in the wind. Or it can be stepped on and squashed. So take my advice and be careful where the dog shits ya!"

"I'll make your face have its first period."

"Go ahead, make my day." (All-time Classic Line Alert!)
---------------------------------------------
From "The Dead Pool"

"You forgot to read your fortune cookie. It says, "You're shit out of luck."

"Maybe I'll start my own dead pool and put your name on it."

---------------------------------------------

P.S,

Hey, terrorist bastards!

(To the tune of "We're An American Band")

We're the American Land
We're child, woman and man
We're coming to your town
We're gonna knock you down
We're the American land!

God Bless America!

Sincerely,

John "outofplacechild" Kilduff
