I would never be embarrassed to admit that -that's a classic tune in it's own right!

Certainly nowhere near as bad as admitting you like anything by Stock, Aiken and Waterman! (and my apologies to 80strivia, cos I know he loves 'em really) ;)

It was little known (if at all) in the States, but it was sugary and it's pretty addictive -

Die Doraus und Die Marinas - Tulpen und Narzissen

If you can ever get your hands on any of this (Andreas Dorau) guys work - it's all just sugar-pop/dance.

For a better known guilty pleasure, it'll fall onto the shoulders of Fun Boy Three's "Our Lips Are Sealed".

that was Pebbles, Biggie. Did you like 'do you wanna ride in my Mercedes, boy..?' too? she moved into my dad's neighborhood when I was 15, but I never went and bothered her. lol

for top 40, mine is a tie between 'Waiting for a star to fall'
and 'Babylove', but I can't remember her name.

Oh yeah, "Waiting For A Star To Fall"...good one!

For me I'd have to say "Endless Summer Nights" by Richard Marx or "Even The Nights Are Better" by Air Supply...actually I think anything by Air Supply would fit the bill...

David Lee Roth has some great songs, especially because they aren't serious.

Regina- right, Sandy.
I remembered her name after thinking of it. She should have done more hits.

God, I have a number of one's I won't admit to.

The top three would probably have to be:

Bangles - Eteranal Flame
Only In My Dreams - Debbie Gibson
Save All Your Love - Great White (Well, I'm not that ashamed of this one!)

Yes, I remember it ! I liked it too !

Lol. That is definitly mine - I hate to admit how much I love it.

The thing is, whenever I see the video, I just burst out laughing - it's awfully cheesy! Anyone remember it?

I do also like Boy Meets Girl's 'Waiting For A Star To Fall' -> However, it doesn't come close to Mr Mederios in my opinion!! ;)

Okay given that most here know my Musical passion is metal...Most may be surprised that I liked "The Boys are back in town" by the Bus Boys...(From the movie "48 hours"). Otherwise I can't really think of a "guilty pleasure" song. If I liked it, folks would know it!

Vilji

"Beautiful Girl" INXS

I don't really feel guilty listening to anything from the 80's! All my friends and family know it's all I listen to. Although, I feel a little guilty about singing along with Air Supply when I'm in the car! "Even The Nights Are Better" gets me everytime.

I forgot this thread was about songs you're afriad to tell anyone about. lol
Was thinking something else...as in, you like it so much it's sinful.

I wouldn't be ashamed to admit I like any sort of song. It's all a matter of taste.

Ok here's a few tunes that are fairly cringeworthy for many people, but
strangely agreeable to me..... sometimes, in moderation!

1. Jimmy The Hoover - Tanatalise

2. Dollar - Give Me Back My Heart

3. Eartha Kitt - Where Is My Man (Remix preferred)

4. MC Miker G & DJ Sven - Holiday Rap

Oh well. :)

Regina- right, Sandy.

Didnt Regina sing SIDEWALK TALK? I googled it, and it says Madonna sang it, but I could have SWORE it wasnt Madonna.

Besides, Regina should always be remembered for her TRUE contribution to the world, which is of course, that McGruff the Crime Dog commercial she was in.

ANYHOW, my guilty 80s Plesure is the song WHAT ABOUT ME by Moving Pictures.
