This saddened me. Now all the kids will think it all started with Green Day.

NEVER! Not as long is there's a breath of life in my body will I let the spirit of the Ramones die and be forgotten.I know I seem a little fanatical about this, but The Ramones were the band that opened the door for me,the door to a lifetime of great music. And to let anyone think that one of these new school "punk" bands is what it's all about,is a total insult.

Joey Ramone as well as the Ramones are one of the greatest, if not THE greatest punk bands ever. I used to do Friday mornings at WERG Energy FM 90 and would play what I called "Friday Morning Ramones" every week at 10:00.
