I was wondering if anyone knew how Duran Duran's latest cd is doing? I never hear it on the radio around here and it would be bogus if the album didn't do well because I think its pretty cool.

I haven't heard anything new out of them since Medazzaland. Did they release anything new since then? Haven't heard a thing...

I hadn't heard anything on the radio about them though since Medazzaland. I know they released 'Greatest' after that...picked that one up immediately <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

"Pop Trash" was released last year to massive amounts of...NOTHING. The CD went over like a lead balloon. There are a few decent tracks on it, but all in all, I was not impressed.

Maybe the reunion with all three Taylors will be the creative kick in the ass that this band needs. Over the past few years, Simon Le Bon has been suffering a horrid case of writers block, so all writing was basically left to Nick Rhodes and Warren C. (I will not even attempt to spell his name...) and they have sunk to an all time low. With Warren gone to reunite Missing Persons and Andy, John and Roger re-joining DD, I have high hopes that they will get back on track.

Although, it is hard to say how long this "reunion" will last. John Taylor has been quite happy with his solo career and Roger has said many times that he is not interested in being a "pop" star.

What I want to know is how they persuaded Roger to get back in the limelight? When they done the "Behind The Music" on Duran Duran he would not even be interviewed for that.
