Lots of crap from most of our "adult" lives. A lot of recent crap you probably dont know, or wouldnt listen to anyhow, but, its a fun little list.

Here are thier criteria in voting for a song:
THE RULES:

1. No Country
Why: If you hate country, every country song belongs on the list.
2. No Athletes
Why: Because Shaq had four albums. That's half the list.
3. No Boy Bands
Why: See Rule #1 and substitute "country" for "Backstreet Boys".
4. No Remixes
Why: There's a bad remix to every song ever made. We're going with originals.
5. No Cover Songs
Why: Every remake is bad. Every. Remake. Is. Bad.
6. No More Than One (1) Song Per Artist
Why: See Rule #1 and substitute "country" for "50 Cent".

I've heard that #1 song before. It is an awful song, but there are many many other songs more deserving of that title

For me, most of the list is agreeable with the exceptions of these:

"Bitch" by Meredith Brooks - I don't know why, I just liked it.
"I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred - Shut up! I liked this song :D
"Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth" by Primitive Radio Gods - Another one I just liked.
"South Side " by Moby ft. Gwen Stefani - And yet another!
"Rico Suave" by Gerardo - See my comments from Right Said Fred!
"Barbie Girl " by Aqua - This one because it has a special memory I ain't sharing here...

I just noticed Rockafellar Skank by Fatbly Slim at #87? That song should be in the top 20 best

Intersting list. And while I do enjoy a few songs on that list, can someone tell me why "Macarena" isn't #1 on that list? That has to be the worst hit song ever recorded.

Nothing IMO wrong with Macarena..sure, was overplayed at times but everyone still gets up and dances to it when played. I love the version that's on the soundtrack of MY FELLOW AMERICANS.

and "Hero" by Enrique Inleasis is also another bad one.
But I don't really agree with Hanson being on the list only because I listened to that(and obessed over) that band when I was in 5 grade. I'm mean that's not the kind of music I want to listen to now or anything.

Oh, please, Steve! You are far from alone. :lol: I don't know anyone who likes that song. :lol: I can't stand Macy Gray - - I don't want to hear her sing the alphabet, let alone anything else.

This list is just about perfect. I did happen to like some of the songs they said were bad, (All-Star, What it's like, Runaway Train) but what matters most is that Kris Kross, Hanson, Spice Girls, Milli Vanilli and Eminem (especially this little crybaby) and all the stupid crap in music that makes me retreat into the pop culture of the 80's is in this list of the least. Some of them should have been further up on the list (Eminem and Vanilli), but at least they were acknowledged to be part of the music that's dumbing down America's youth.

This, of course, is just my opinion. If you actualy lked some of these artists, no need to apologize. It's obviously a genetic problem... :lol: (kidding, of course!)

Most of the list I agree with. The songs I didn't agree with are:

Cotton eye joe (the rednex)
The reason (hobastank)
Arms wide open (creed)
I'm too sexy ( right said fred)
Blue ( eiffel 65)
waterfalls (tlc)
and
DU HAST (rammstein) is one of my favorite all time songs. :D
