For the ones that are watching or saw the Superbowl.

I really liked Paul but damnnnnnnnnn he can't sing anymore :(
His voice is shot.

You know, i do like those songs that Paul has done so far tonight but damn he is killing them. I will post more after the show
The show is over and well his voice got a little bit better.
Why him? Couldn't they find someone else? Nothing against him but come on :irked: I am a fan of his older music but poor guy's voice is just isn't the same.

WHA WHA WHA WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?! PAUL KICKED ASS!!!  :thumb: :thumb: What made it EVEN cooler is that my kids and I all sang with him at the top of our lungs!! My kids know Beatles tunes!! :D WOOHOO!!!
What a complete CLASS ACT!!! I kept remembering when I had the privilege of seeing Sir Paul in concert 12 years ago. Man... what an awesome experience!! We (the entire stadium) sang Hey Jude for almost an HOUR after Paul had departed.
I'm extremely pleased with his performance tonight. The man RAWKS!!
He rocks as a performer but his voice :( maybe he has been yelling for his team

I think they (the people that design the half-time show) were absolutely petrified about any kind of controversy this year. And being unable to "trust" today's artists to guarantee them a show without controversy, who better to go to then Paul McCartney. Which actually, coming to think about it, is unusual, Paul used to be controversial back in the day of the Beatles, although I think he was much less so then John. However, controversy, more-or-less is for the young and upcoming artists and/or artists that are just coming down from a stellar career, not for ageing rock stars, no matter how spectacular they were in another moment of their lives.
I, unfortunately, missed the half-time show, as I am not remotely interested in football anymore. (I think I had my fill of the sport being in the high school band and going to every game in my two years of high school.)
I take it Mr. McCartney had no costume malfunctions?
Nope but I was hoping he would :naughty:

Awwww i bet that was cute. Im sure he would have been GREAT to see in concert then. It soulds like you had a blast. I like his music a lot but i think they could have found some newer acts to put on stage. I wonder how the press will write about this.

I thought it was great compared to that crap last year.
I thought he sounded fine. The man's 63 year's old and I hope I rock as hard and sound as good when I'm that age. He still played a mean bass and tickled the ivories as well as anyone.
I dug it. Far better than seeing Aerosmith, Britney Spears and whatever boy band that was butcher "Walk This Way".
