Marietta's "Destination Unknown" is terrible and not the same as Missing Person's classic "Destination Unknown".

While I like "Walking in LA" has anyone ever seen Dale try to sing it live? She never seems to be able to keep up...especially during their short lived 2002 reunion tour.

Another vote for Destination Unknown. Although, I did enjoy some of the tracks off of 1986's "Color In Your Life". They kind of faded away after that.

Although both Words and Walking in LA were top 40 hits here, I always preferred Windows. I love the part where she screams that high note :thumb:

WINDOWS is a beautiful song...in fact I really like every song from their first LP "Spring Session M"...it's probably one of the best 80's albums and a must for any 80's music fan. A little known fact about this song is that there is actually a video for it (it might have been even shown in some countries) but because "Walking in LA" failed to hit the top 100 in the US..Capitol decided to pull it as a single (for some strange reason neither "Words" not "Destination Unknown"..their most well known songs made it to the top 40).

Other favs from that LP are: "Noticeable One" and "It Ain't None of Your Business".

Their second album didn't do very well but it was a rather solid collection of pop/dance/synth pop tracks. Their last album, Colour In Your Life, wasn't very good at all...with exception of a few songs. By then, Dale & Terry had divorced and the band was falling apart.

One Way Records (in the US) reissued these albums in 2000 and they are still avaliable (all with bonus tracks).

Yep. Another little known fact (for casual fans) is that "Spring Session M" was actually their second release. Their first release was an EP that contained 4 tracks: Words, I Like Boys, Destination Unknown and Mental Hopscotch. Both "Words" and "Destination" are exactly the same as what was later featured on the "Spring Session M" album. The EP was released a year before "Spring" was released.

i voted for Give, a powerful dance-pop anthem with a positive feel-good message. i still have the vinyl 45 single, Dale looks quite stunning on the picture sleeve. In fact, I had the priveledge of meeting Ms. Bozzio, and we actually bonded so well, she offered me her home phone number in Boston!

"Not only are they deaf and dumb,
they could be going blind.
I think I'll dye my hair blue."

I voted for 'Words'. I also like 'Mental Hopscotch'.

"Mental Hopscotch" destroys tall buildings - their very best song ever. Other personal faves include "Noticeable One," "Give," "Walking in L.A." "Windows," and "The Closer That You Get." In general I tend to like their harder-edged stuff the best...

I don't know if I posted in this thread before or not. If I did, sorry about that. I didn't look through the other pages. I love Missing Persons. They didn't do anything bad. But, I would have to go with "Mental Hopscotch. It never got the airplay it deserved.
