Did anyone buy any Christmas CD's this Christmas?

The only one that I purchased was the Band Aid 20 'Do They Know It's Christmas' single. I didn't expect to see it in stores because it didn't get a US release, but there it was on the shelves, so I picked up a copy :thumb:

I don't like x-mas music. In general, I have not bought a cd for about a year.

Nope. I did not buy any x-mas music cds this year. If Iron Maiden or Slayer put out a christmas album, I might actually think about buying it.

I bought the new Trans Siberian Orchestra disc. I have all their autographs on it too, from when I saw them this year.

No, I didn't buy any Christmas-music CDs.

But over the past two years (or so), I've heard--and enjoyed--quite a few Christmas songs (17 are listed below), many of which were released in the '80s! I recorded them right off the radio.

Madonna: Santa Baby
The Pretenders: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Eurythmics: Winter Wonderland
John "Cougar" Mellencamp: I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
Eminem: Jingle Bells
Wham!: Last Christmas
Debbie Gibson: Sleigh Ride
Hall & Oates: Jingle Bell Rock
Bryan Adams: Christmas Time
Dan Fogelberg: Same Old Lang Syne
Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLachlan: God Rest Ye Gentlemen
Bob Rivers: The Twelve Pains Of Christmas
Bob & Doug McKenzie: Twelve Days Of Christmas
Dolly Parton: Hard Candy Christmas
Jessica Simpson & Rosie O'Donnell: Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree
Dido: Christmas Day
Bruce Springsteen: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

For 2004, I bought Harry Connick Jr's "Harry For The Holidays" CD+DVD set, and Michael Franks "Watching The Snow" CD. I Have many more Christmas albums including Amy Grant, Michael McDonald, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey , Boys 2 Men, Babyface,Luther Vandross, A Very Special Christmas 1 & 2 CDs ( Great Bon Jovi songs ), etc., but I always play the main classics , which are Mario Lanza, Jim Reeves, and Elvis Christmas albums - Great !
