There is this show called "Good Day Live" out of California. One of the hosts is Debbie Matenopolous, who was on the show yesterday having a hard time because she had just lost her dog of almost 17 years. I wrote an e-mail to her to let her know that she had a sympathetic ear out there, and they just read it on the air!
There was a Dawn in New York, and just a Dawn--I was just a Dawn
I seriously made me feel so good to know that she got to read it and know that I care.
I guess that pet lovers really are all alike!

Wow, that's cool! I always wondered if that letters they read on TV are real or not. Guess so. :)

That was so nice of you to take the time to send her a supportive email. :rose: It obviously touched her.

Wow, that is awesome Brandy!!!!!
Yeah, I'm with Punky, I too have wondered if letters on tv are written for the shows or actual real letters. There is a show on Animal Planet (I can't remember the name of it), but it is on Animal bloopers and some of the letters are so silly, that I have thought they were just made for the show.
Very cool! I acutally watched some of that but I did not pay close attention to the names.
I dont know which is sadder, that somebody's dog, whom they had for 17 years passed away, or the fact that you admit to watching that show.
Very nice of you to send a nice note though!

Hell, I don't care, I had my fifteen minutes. Nobody was home to see it, but...
Besides, stuff happens for a reason--what I give out to people comes back to me. People have been so nice to me when I have lost pets, it's my "calling" to pass that on.
That's great, Brandy! I watched Good Day Live when I was in Cali in September. It's hilarious!! I don't know if we get it here, but I'm well on my way to work when it comes on, so I guess I wouldn't get to see it here.
