From Sky News:

Chart-topping '80s band Frankie Goes To Hollywood are to reform for a one-off gig. But charismatic lead singer Holly Johnson may be about to start a war of two tribes after reportedly refusing to take part. The show is being put on by legendary producer Trevor Horn, the band's former guru and also the man Holly apparently bears a grudge to.

But The Sun newspaper claims the singer is angry at Horn over past money disputes.

A source told the paper: "Holly is the one saying no to it.

"Now the band are looking for someone to step into his shoes on the night."

The rift is looming over the band's comeback gig for the Prince's Trust on November 11.

They hit the headlines with their 1984 single Relax, which topped the charts for five weeks.

With lyrics seen as overly explicit for the time, it was banned from BBC Radio 1 and Top of the Pops, notoriety which ensured its number 1 spot.

you can't have FGTH without Holly Johnson. You can't. Just can't. It wouldn't be the same

I used to love FGTH back in the day. All 4 hits from the 'Pleasuredome' album cracked the Canadian top 40 :thumb:

As Holly was sort of the soul of the group, they wouldn't have the same appeal without his input, at least in my opinion. But I'm certain Paul Rutherford can still play a mean tambourine!!!
